Hey everyone!

I just found out about an awesome new site called Primp & Prep and I'm so excited to share it with you!  It is a unique online site on Hypnotiq where you can find out about beauty, fashion, style, tips, and more.  Primp & Prep is dedicated to helping you connect with your girlfriends as you get ready for a night out!  This site has such a novel and interesting concept, and I absolutely love it.  I have always enjoyed getting ready with my friends.  No matter how many times I have done it before, I still enjoy being with my friends as we help each other pick out our outfits, do each other's hair, and share our makeup tricks.  Some of my most fun memories and inside jokes with my friends have developed while we all got ready together.  So, I can't wait to get ready with my friends and Primp & Prep sometime soon!

There are so many different great features to the Primp & Prep site.  For example, they offer a large selection of recipes for making your own cocktails and drinks.  Have you ever wanted Blake Lively's hair?  Well, you can also find different style, fashion, and beauty tips drawn from celebrity inspirations.  My favorite part about this site is the Pandora music player for all of my music needs!  My girlfriends and I absolutely love jamming to dance songs and singing along to our favorite songs as we get ready.  For us, music is a must have to get us in the mood for going out!  With this site, you can let your hair down, music up!

If you are interested in meeting a guy, don't worry because Primp & Prep has got you covered!  The site features insight on the type of clothing that attract men's attentions as well as tips on what you should do around a guy.  So, keep those nervous feelings at bay and get ready for tons of attention!  This site is also super easy to navigate and to find information on a specific topic because they have very clear categories.

School's Back in Full Swing!

My blog has moved to http://www.tenderallure.com/.  To keep up with my latest posts, outfits, giveaways, and more, check out my new blog!  I would love it if you could joined me at my new blog  :)

Hey everyone!

I still can’t believe that my classes started 3 weeks ago, and that I took my first test of the year last Friday!  Every fall, I feel so busy because I want to enjoy what’s left of summer as well as get ready for school.  I’ve been trying to fit in as many fun, outdoor activities as I can into my daily schedule because it’s still so warm and beautiful outside.  I have also been shopping for new clothes and stocking up on school supplies for the whole year.  I try to buy everything that I might need for my classes during this time of the year because so many stores are having huge discounts and sales right now.

However, I usually find that I underestimate how many printer ink and toner cartridges I use and I tend to run out of them around February.  For my classes, most of my professors use PowerPoint.  I like printing out the powerpoints to take notes on them, so I must use up a ton of ink and toner!  I am always searching for stores or sites that offer printer cartridges at affordable prices all year round.  I love being able to find products that I need at a great deal whenever I need them.

I really enjoy sharing my thoughts and details about my life with you, and I love it when you interact with me.  Let me know if you enjoy these types of posts, because I think I’ll be doing more of them.

xoxo,
Linda

Cover Your Hair Review and Giveaway!

My blog has moved to http://www.tenderallure.com/.  To keep up with my latest posts, outfits, giveaways, and more, check out my new blog!  I would love it if you could joined me at my new blog  :)

Hey everyone!

I recently found out about Cover Your Hair, which offers a huge selection of hair coverings and hair accessories.  I usually don't have enough time in the morning to do anything fancy to my hair, and I love relying on pretty head accessories to make my hair look amazing.  It makes my day so much easier when I can throw on a cute headband or hair clips and run out of the door.  So, I think that Cover Your Hair is the perfect company for my hair accessories needs!  They have something for everyone's style, and they even offer baby hats and baby headbands!

These are some hair products that really caught my eye!

I received the Double Necklace Headband in the color black and pink as well as the Goody Blue Small Petit Foam Hair Rollers to review!

I absolutely love this headband!  The design is so classic and perfect for any look.  The gold chain contrasts beautifully with the pink and black suede.  I also think that this headband is a very versatile piece because it could double as your jewelry!  You could wear it as a necklace and easily hide the elastic with your hair, or you could spice up your arm party with this headband wrapped around your wrist.  The elastic on this headband stretches and fits to my head, making it perfect for all sizes.  Out of all of my headbands, this is one of the more comfortable headbands that I own because it doesn't squeeze on my head and it doesn't give me a headache.

I thought that the Goody hair rollers would be perfect for giving my hair a beachy, wavy look.  When I use my curling iron, I usually get really tight, organized curls.  Sometimes, I just want a relaxed curl look that my curling iron can't give me.  So, I was super excited to try out the Goody foam rollers!  The rollers are super light-weight, and the foam prevents unruly kinks from forming in your hair.  At first, I was concerned that 14 rollers wouldn't be enough for all of my hair.  After trying out this product, I realized that my hair fits perfectly in the 14 rollers. This is how my hair looks after using the Goody hair rollers:

I think I came pretty close to beachy waves.  Since my hair is very thick and hard to curl, my hair didn't turn out as wavy as I had hoped it would.  To achieve this look, I really had to experiment with the hair rollers and figure out what was the best way to use them for my hair.  After showering, I applied some frizz-control serum to my damp hair and quickly rolled my hair into the rollers.  Then, I let my hair air dry for about 3 hours before taking the rollers out to get this wavy look.  Depending on how I used the rollers, my hair would range anywhere from just the slightest wave in my hair to a huge, curly afro!  Overall, I think that these rollers are a nice product because you can play with it to get different levels of curls.  However, I would mainly recommend them for people who have thin hair or easy to curl hair.
