Outfit with a Little Red Dress and Oasap Review!

I wanted to share my outfit with an amazing red dress perfect for looking glamorous on a night out.  Sometimes I get tired of depending on my little black dress for looking put together when I go out on a date or when I go out on the town with my girlfriends.  Of course, the little black dress is perfect when you want to have fun with accessories.  But, some days I just want to have fun with color!

Sleeveless Slim Fit Dress with Twist Detail to Chest

This red dress from Oasap is exactly what I had in mind!  I absolutely love the sweetheart neckline and double strap details.  They are perfect for highlighting feminine features while keeping the dress demure. The twist detail adds some dimension and flair to this dress, keeping it far from a simple, plain dress.  Also, the tight fit of this dress really works to accentuate my curves.  This dress is the perfect length for me because it's not so short that I feel uncomfortable wearing it and the above-knee-length is great for less formal occasions.

This dress is made from milk fiber, which I had never heard of before, but it feels so soft!  I also think it's great that this fabric is not super thin and sheer because I don't have to wear a slip underneath it.  Another feature that I noticed about this dress is the high quality of the zipper.  I have noticed many times that cheap, low quality clothing usually have zippers that don't work well; those zippers often get caught and they are so hard to zip up fully.  However, for this dress from Oasap, the zipper works smoothly and flawlessly.

To keep the red dress the focal piece of my outfit, I decided to pair it with some dainty jewelry.  I chose a pair of sparkly, dangling earrings that stand out well against my hair.  I also wore a little gold pendant necklace and a stack of thin silver bangles with some rhinestone detailing.  To finish off this outfit and to elongate my legs, I picked out a flirty and girly pair of nude peep toe heels.

Overall, I really like this dress, and I think Oasap is a great shopping site for cute, trendy clothing.  They processed my order super quickly and the shipping took about 2 weeks.  Oasap is an international company, and they ship worldwide for free!

My Friend's Dog

In the past, whenever I visited my best friend Samantha, her dog Pepper would greet me with kisses and excitement.  Pepper would be jumping up and down, wagging his tail, and begging to be petted.  Over the last few years, I have noticed that Pepper doesn’t come rushing to the door and jumping on me when I walk into Samantha’s house.  Samantha and I have both noticed that Pepper appears to be in increasingly more pain with each step he takes.  Worried about Pepper, Samantha took him to their veterinarian, and it turns out that Pepper has arthritis.  

The vet told Samantha that there are a few options for treating arthritis in dogs.  Overwhelmed by the variety in pet medicine and supplies, Samantha couldn’t decide on a treatment to help Pepper.  She asked me to help her look into the different options, and so we have been doing a lot of research on arthritis and joint treatments.  We’ve come across cosequins, which are supposed to be nutritional supplements to increase joint health.  It sounds like the cosequins would work to increase joint lubrication and that might decrease his joint stiffness.  Perhaps the cosequins would also provide some cushioning for Pepper’s joints, so they don’t have to absorb as much shock when he moves around.  So, Pepper might be able to walk without experiencing so much pain!  We think that this treatment might be promising in combination with a few other products to get Pepper back on his feet.  

I know that this post is different from what I usually post about, but I’d love to get some advice from my lovely readers on arthritis treatment for dogs.  So, if you have any tips or suggestions, or if you know of any treatments that have worked, please let me know.  Also, if you have tried using cosequins for your dog, please let me know!  I’m really interested in finding out more about these products for Pepper.

Outfit for a Day Wedding!

Hey everyone!

I had a great time at my friend's wedding, and I am so happy for the newlyweds!  They had a beautiful ceremony and there were quite a few "Awww" moments.  Again, I just took some pictures in my hotel room (sorry about the lighting!) to share with you my outfit.

Since this was a day wedding, I chose a simple dress that would be appropriate for the occasion.  Of course, it's important that you don't choose a white dress for attending a wedding.  However, when you are picking out a dress for a wedding, it is also important to keep in mind the wedding colors. If you are not a member of the wedding party, you should not choose a dress in one of the wedding colors.   This royal blue dress from Charlotte Russe was perfect because it has such a beautiful silhouette.  I love the slight sweetheart neckline and the pleating details on the skirt.  The cutouts on the side added a nice flair to my outfit without showing too much skin.

To keep this outfit day appropriate, I decided to keep my jewelry simple and understated.  You shouldn't choose excessively shiny or sparkly jewelry that could dress up your outfit and make it more appropriate for an evening wedding.  So, I wore my butterfly pendant necklace and a pair of diamond and sapphire drop earrings.

I finished off my outfit with a pair of red heels for an unexpected pop of color.  The heels are the Womens Mossimo Pearce Patent Flexible Sole Pumps from Target.  When you are picking out the shoes to wear to a wedding, it's important to keep in mind what you might be doing at the wedding!  I chose these heels because I knew that I could dance in them and wear them all day with no problems.  You can always bring a pair of flip-flops or flats in your purse to change into if necessary.

I attended a lovely wedding rehearsal dinner, and I wanted to share with you my outfit!  Since I did have to travel out of town for this wedding, I didn't have too much time to get ready for the rehearsal dinner.  Everyone was rushing around to get ready, and I didn't get a chance to film this outfit for you :(  I just took some quick pictures in my hotel room, and I apologize about the lighting.

When I found out about my friend's wedding, I was so excited because I had the perfect excuse to go dress shopping!  I have always found that dress shopping for special occasions is super fun and a great time to play around with different styles.  As I was walking in the mall, my eyes were immediately drawn to the beautiful dress on display in Body Central.  The dress was exactly what I wanted:  simple, feminine, and classy.  I love how harmoniously the coral, gray, and silver colors mix together in this dress.  The white background for the floral print is so refreshing!

On my way the registers, I decided to take a look at the jewelry display in Body Central.  I picked out the triple-strand coral beaded necklace because the color matches well with the dress and it's a beautiful statement necklace for highlighting my dress.  For the rest of my jewelry, I decided to keep it dainty because I wanted the necklace to be the centerpiece.  I chose the Forever Audrey earrings and the Humanity Wish bracelet from JewelMint.  I finished this outfit off with some strappy heels and a sparkly clutch!

For my hair, I put it up in a simple half-do and curled the rest.
