Review of Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner

I recently received the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner to review, and I wanted to share with you my thoughts on this product.

This line of Garnier Fructis products has new formulas designed to nourish and smooth all hair types!  You can easily differentiate the new shampoo and conditioner from the other Garnier Fructis products by the new flip-top caps and labels.  The new cap has a button that makes the bottle easier to open when your hands are soapy.  Also, Garnier Fructis is dedicated to going green by using new bottles made with 30% post-consumer recycled plastic.

I'm quite enjoying the new Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner.  I noticed that these Garnier Fructis products keep my hair from getting frizzy.  My hair looks so sleek and smooth even when I haven't straightened my hair.  My only complaint is about the shampoo.  This shampoo has a really liquidy consistency and it doesn't produce enough lather when I wash my hair.  When I pour out some of the shampoo from the container, I always worry that I'll pour out too much because it's so liquidy.  Also, for this shampoo, when I use the amount of shampoo that I ordinarily use to wash my hair, it doesn't produce enough suds to wash all of my hair.  I have to use double the amount of shampoo that I would normally use to wash my hair thoroughly.

After using the Garnier Fructis conditioner, my hair always feels so soft and smooth.  This product has a nice creamy consistency and easily rubs into my hair.  I love how I don't have to work really hard to get this product to cover all of my strands.  Before trying this product, I was using a conditioner that I had randomly picked up at my drugstore.  Unfortunately, I don't really like that other conditioner because it doesn't really do anything for my hair.  My hair is naturally somewhat coarse, and I prefer to use conditioners that make my hair feel less coarse and much softer.

Overall, I think that the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo is great for keeping your hair smooth and under control during hot, humid days this summer.  Also, I would definitely recommend picking up the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Conditioner because it works so well for smoothing and softening my hair.
